Geomancy and
Astrology
Feng Shui (Chinese
Geomancy)
Feng Shui (Pronounced “Feng Shway” or “Fung Shui”
or Fung
Shuway,” depending if you are Mandarin, Cantonese, or American)
is the study of energy of Heaven and
Earth effecting toward humans via the wind and water; to see how they can affect the lives of people
during specific time. To achieve the best results, Feng Shui knowledge
should be applied to house planning, city planning, architecture, interior decoration and
landscaping, etc.
The Chinese word consists of two characters, meaning "wind and water." It
is a form of science that is concerned with the layout of the terrain and
architecture,
and its influences on human life.
Feng Shui is the art of placing buildings and objects in relation to energy
flows, to heighten positive energies and minimize the negative ones. It is
based on the interaction of Yin and Yang, the female and male forces along with
Chinese astrology and the five elements.
The purpose of Feng Shui is to enable you to organize your home so that the Ch'i
energy, the all-pervading life force, is accentuated by the precise positioning
of your house, furniture, decorations and other objects.
The parallel between the human body and landscape is an old metaphor in Chinese
history. The human body has channels, also called meridians, that transport the
vital energy necessary for the healthy functioning of the body. On the ground,
these channels are the rivers and canals, along which the energy necessary for
happiness and good luck travels. The obstruction of the pathways causes disease
in the body and disaster in the house.
Constellation charts from a Fengshui compass Fengshui thinks in terms of
mountains and rivers. The perfect position is to have a mountain behind you a
river flowing towards the right hand side in front of you. If you live in a
city, the rivers are streets and avenues, while the mountains are high
buildings. If a high building is built right in front of your house, it will
block the flow of energy and prevent good luck from entering your house.
However, there is no need to move to a new place because there are solutions. In
fact, Fengshui is all about solutions. You can hang up mirrors, plant trees,
strategically position pieces of furniture to aid the flow of qi in the house.
You might call it superstition but in Chinese culture Fengshui is an existing
phenomenon to this very day. Companies would often spend extra millions of
dollars just to ensure that the Fengshui is right for their new headquarters,
rather than going with the cheaper but fengshui-wise inauspicious solution. And,
after all, many Western hotels skip the thirteenth floor too.
Wind
More than 6000 year, Many Taoist have studied that when there is a blowing wind,
hot/cold wind can give bad effect our health and mind. In the other way around;
Normal wind can give freshness and new energy that brings a good heath.
Wind that blow heavily can make a person become sick, cold, lose balance. A
place that have heavy blowing wind is definitely not a good place to live.
For example, A house that face along the road is considered to be bad in
Fengshui. From medical aspect, this condition could bring sickness to the
household because the germs and bacteria that blows directly and strongly toward
the front door.
With Fengshui, we can study to determine whether or not a certain place is good
to buy. And if you already own a bad place and kind of stuck with it, There are
still many things can be used such as barrier (building a wall), planting some
trees in certain location, changing the front door direction, and others. So
that it can decrease the effect of blowing wind.
Water
Flowing Water create a friction which could create certain electromagnetic field
that absorb energy/qi. Desiging a front door of a house that face toward water,
we can get more energy, and this is a very important aspect in Fengshui. On the
contrarily, Water that flows too strong(such as near waterfall) could bring a
bad effect to our health.
Another example is having a water pipe right under the bedroom is considered to
be bad in Fengshui. From the western medical point of view, this condition could
cause dampness from the water toward the bed. As a result, it will bring
rheumatic or some other disease.
Chinese Astrology
The life of a person depends on the energy at the moment
of birth.
Therefore; It is very important to understand that Chinese
astrology is not Calculation of certain person fate, instead, It is a
calculation of the nature and energy that effect certain person at the
moment of birth.
A good analysis of the energy combination at the moment of birth to see how the
changing energy throughout his life will help him to achieve the best according
to his potential.
The two main schools of Chinese Astrology :
1. Ba Zi : Four Pillars of Destiny
2. Zi Wei Dou Shu.
3. Gua Mia. Life reading based on many aspect such as
Face, Moles, Birthmark, etc.
4. Cap Ji Shio.<12 animal zodiac> Common Fukkienese Taoist astrology
calculation based
on the Chinese Zodiac.
Conclusion
Both Chinese astrology and geomancy are based on Taoist's principle.
For example:
1. Relation of Yin and Yang(Positive and Negative)
2. Relation of 5 elements(Wood,metal,soil,water,fire)
3. Eight trigrams(Ba Gua)
4. Rotation of Jupiter(every 20 years)
5. 10 heavenly stem and 12 branches.
6. etc.
These 10 celestial stems and 12 branches gave birth to many calculation
including Fengshui, the basic 12 chinese zodiac and the 60 day & year cycle.

Disclaimer: Without any disrespect to other system, I have gathered 2 different
60 year cycle, One is Manchurian System, the other one is Han system.
1. The Manchurian version is the system that most system follows.
The Han version means the secret version originated from Han
Dynasty.
(Our Dai Sang Men Sect follow this Han version)
2. Luo Huo is the Shadow planet of Solar eclipse, known as Dragon's head
Ci To is the shadow planet of Lunar eclipse, knows as
Dragon's tail
* These two planet are karmic planet.
3. Bone weight in this chart is the one of the 4 bone weight chart calculation
that can predict
certain person successes in the future.
